Six original short plays bring laughs, scares and twisted storytelling to Push Comedy Theater for six nights this October.

A Halloween night out in Norfolk can come with a punchline. The 666 Project returns to Push Comedy Theater with a fresh collection of short plays that mix horror and comedy, turning the intimate NEON District stage into a home for creepy characters and unexpected endings.

The production takes its cue from anthology storytelling such as The Twilight Zone and Tales from the Crypt. Instead of following one story all evening, audiences encounter six different tales, each with its own mood and surprises.

What is The 666 Project?

The name describes the collaboration: six writers, six directors, six actors and six original tales of terror. Local performers and creative teams bring the stories to life, moving between dark humor, unsettling situations and the delightfully bizarre.

The appeal is that a scare can give way to a laugh—and the next story can take the evening somewhere entirely different. For friends planning an October outing, it offers a live-theater alternative to the usual Halloween routine.
