C. E. (Cliff) Hayes, Jr.

Cliff Hayes brings a technology management background to House District 91, which includes parts of Chesapeake and Portsmouth. His professional experience is in chief information officer and technology director roles. His education includes computer information systems at Norfolk State University, business management at Cambridge College and additional study in public-sector technology and cybersecurity.

Hayes chairs the House Communications, Technology and Innovation Committee and the Appropriations subcommittee on General Government and Capital Outlay. He also serves on Health and Human Services and Rules. His assignments make technology policy, state facilities and government spending useful areas to follow through official committee records. His House page supplies legislative-office contacts and current assignments. Residents should identify their address and the specific state proposal when writing; District 91 includes only portions of each city.
