Veteran workforce development, entrepreneurship and community connection in Virginia Beach.
Neptune SHIELD Foundation brings together training, business support and resilience programs for veterans and military families. Its work connects people leaving military service with opportunities in the defense and maritime economy, while giving employers and community supporters a way to participate.
The foundation’s three pillars are Educate, Empower and Embrace. Educate focuses on workforce skills and transition pathways. Empower supports entrepreneurship and dual-use innovation. Embrace brings leadership, coaching, mental wellness and peer support into the same conversation.
